Funny moment of the day

I thought I'd share this funny moment that took place in between classes today.

Two of my international students came up to me during break. One of them had seen me playing tennis recently and told me so. "Oh yes," I replied, "I saw you playing, too." The other student then said "He [referring to the student he was with] told me that you were awful." "He told you I was awful?!" I said, trying to sound incredulous. And then with a big smile, the student responded, "He said you were awfully good." Now that's great proficiency for a second language. I'm so proud. :)
