So it's been a while since I last posted. Lots has happened - Easter, a DYRT retreat, testing 170 participants for my research project, dinner theatre, and even some tennis. I can't believe that in less than three weeks I will be officially half way done with my masters. CRAZY!
Well, I don't have much time to write more, but I'll end this post with 5 things I'm thankful for (ah! I was a poet and I didn't even know it). Especially during busy and stressful times, I have found it extremely helpful to look back on my day and name 5 things that I'm thankful for. It helps put everything in perspective. Here goes...
1. homemade pancakes - they're a weekend tradition!
2. a kind word from Father Jim - in this case, I'm referring to the priest at St. E's, not my dad who is named Jim (although he does say many kind words!)
3. playing tennis - it's a fun way to spend time with friends
4. cell phones! - they alllow me to hear the voices of people I love dearly
5. running into friends on my way to Sam's Place
What are you thankful for?
Paz.
