A few weeks ago President Obama spoke at Notre Dame. While I enjoyed President Obama's speech, I was especially impressed with Father Jenkins, current president of Notre Dame, and how he introduced the President of the United States. Having watched Father Jenkins since he was inaugurated my senior year, I was surprised to see Father Jenkins so animated. I could tell that he really believed and cared about everything he was saying. Many years from now, I'm sure this speech will be one of the defining moments of Father Jenkins' presidency.
