1. My favorite aunt Kathy from Modesto - She is now an official store manager! It is truly deserved as she has worked very hard to earn this position.
2. The Lubbock Little League World Series Team - They unfortunately lost to a team from Georgia in the US Championship, but they had an amazing journey. And to think they're from little ol' Lubbock...
3. Joe Montana - While playing "Battle of the Sexes" with some church friends this week, the following question arose: What college did Joe Montana play football at? I may be a female, but even I knew the answer was none other than our Lady's university.
4. My parents - They're probably my most faithful blog readers. They buy me yogurt and crumb cake when I'm home and for that (and their unconditional love) I'm extremely grateful.
5. My department - The past few days of TA training has shown me just how organized and supportive my department is. From the department chair to the Language Lab staff to the Team Coordinators, everyone knows what they're doing and bends over backwards to help those who need it. Pretty sweet.
6. Uncle Steve - Happy birthday!
