I've been enjoying my Christmas break here in California. So far I've visited with family, friends from high school, and friends from ND. It's been great to see everyone! I've also made two trips to San Diego - both to the San Diego zoo and Sea World. Nothing beats singing "Joy to the World" with Shamu! haha.
Christmas day was very blessed. Mom loved the photo my sisters and I gave her for her gift. Dad wore his new "Texas Tech Dad" t-shirt to Sea World yesterday (I'm sure the Aggie fans who were in town for the Holiday bowl surely appreciate it!). Jenn liked the iTunes gift card I gave her, and Amy already began reading the book I gave her. To top it off, Christmas night we had dinner with prime rib and crab (sometimes I just love that my sisters are vegetarians who eat fish!). It was also great to visit with Grandpa on Christmas. And I'm glad he liked the book we gave him (Charlie Weis' No Excuses). It was a wonderful day.
I have just over a week til I get back to Lubbock. It's time to start running more, get some shopping done, and hopefully visit with a few more friends. Before I know it, it'll be time for the new semester to start! Time flies when you're having fun...
Paz.
