My grandpa emailed me this picture before last year's Notre Dame/USC game. It's been on the wallpaper of my computer ever since. The bottom line is really my favorite, haha.Next week we have a good chance to beat the dreaded Trojans. It was awesome to hear how the student body started chanting "Go Irish! Beat Trojans!" at the end of the game today. Though, Charlie Weis did say it could have been louder, haha. It's gonna be the game of the season, so I hope Notre Dame's class of 07 will step up and lead the Irish to victory.
In other news, I had the first opportunity to design the entire class for my ESL Speaking course last Monday. It all went well. The students talked about misconceptions and confusions resulting from being a visitor in a place where they don't know the language well. Everyone seemed to be having fun, all while actually learning. That's success in my book.
Tomorrow I'm looking forward to sharing a Thanksgiving meal with my church family. You can never have too much turkey... especially at the end of November! I'm excited.
Only a few more days here and then I'll be home for Thanksgiving! woohoo!
There's so much to be thankful for in life. Family, friends, yummy food, laughter, Notre Dame victories over USC...
