With just four days until the wedding, things have been crazy busy. Aaron arrived on Saturday, and it's been great having him here! We've accomplished a lot - completing on our own work projects, planning a schedule for the week, shopping for things we need, and getting in touch with all our wonderful vendors who are helping make the wedding day possible.
Today my Aunt Betty stopped by to pick up things that will be set up at the reception site. When she stopped by, she gave us a bunch of "Fancher" baseball cookies! They were absolutely adorable and tasty, too! It was a fun surprise!
Aaron and I noticed something fun when we were running errands this afternoon. At one place, we heard the Bach song that will be played during the procession of the family and bridal party. I guess the owner of the store had on a classical music radio station. Later, we went to another store, and we heard our "first dance" song! (We only went to three different errands, so two out of three isn't bad!). It was a great way to smile in what was a busy day!
Aaron and I have also been able to go on walks during the evening. Last night, we spent the whole time trying to figure out if we gave each other the same gifts (we'll be opening presents from each other the day before the wedding). It was tough because we didn't want to give too much away, but we're also curious if we came up with the same idea! I'm not sure what he got me, but I think we may have put together something similar, although not exactly the same. We will see!
Lastly, it's been fun to have the Olympics to watch each day. Tonight we were able to watch the diving, swimming, and women's gymnastics (and we even splurged and got frozen yogurt!). It's been a fun thing to enjoy these last few days.
That's it for now! More soon!
